Server Infrastructure & Security
Role-Based User Access
Each employee must register for a BenefitsConnect 360 system account. The employee is assisted in creating their own unique username and password. Users only have access to those features that are appropriate for their assigned roles.
Encryption
BenefitsConnect 360 uses 128-bit encryption and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all personal information transmitted over the Internet. In addition, each user has a unique ID and password that is used to authenticate access to the system. All backups of the system are encrypted.
Amazon Cloud-Based Services Hosting
Each of the services within the AWS cloud are architected to be secure and contains several capabilities that restrict unauthorized access or usage without sacrificing the flexibility that customers demand.
Scheduled Maintenance
BenefitsConnect 360 applies upgrades to the servers on a continuous basis. Appropriate updates to the operating system are installed and servers are monitored continuously via Amazon CloudWatch. Software updates are performed in off-peak hours (typically around midnight) unless pre-arranged with customers.
Service Level Agreement
The Internet Service Provider provides a limited-Service Level Warranty for the network to which the servers are connected. The warranty guarantees a continuous up-time of 99%.
The Implementation Process
STEP 1: DISCOVERY
We assess your company’s demographics to create a Benefits Matrix that guides implementation, working closely with HR and your broker to ensure accurate information.
STEP 5: DEPLOY
This is the “go live” phase where all open enrollment start and end dates as well as benefit effective dates are set to real working dates. All items have been tested and all issues resolved (if any).

STEP 2: BUILD
Configure a new BenefitsConnect 360 portal, specific to your company. We generate your desired “look and feel”, configure the enrollment system, generate required reports, and create the carrier feeds.
STEP 3: TRAIN
Get the most out of your customized BenefitsConnect 360 system through adequate training. Learn about data, implementation, reporting, testing, and more.
STEP 4: TEST
Ensure seamless implementation before the system is put into production. This is the time to thoroughly review all aspects of the program (feeds, implementation, notifications, generators, rates, etc.).
